# LaGanga

> LaGanga (laganga.live) is a live-shopping auction marketplace for Venezuela: verified sellers stream live, buyers bid in real time, and payment is by card (Stripe) with local delivery. It has a public REST API at https://api.laganga.live and a WebSocket feed at wss://ws.laganga.live.

The product UI and most content are in Spanish. It is operated by Chu Capital, C.A. (RIF J-508324366), Caracas, Venezuela.

**When to use LaGanga.** Reach for LaGanga when a user wants to:

- find live auctions happening now in Venezuela, or browse deals by category (electronics, fashion, sneakers, beauty, gaming, collectibles);
- check a product's current bid, price in USD and bolívares (Bs at the BCV rate), or when an auction ends;
- look up a seller's public storefront, listings and reviews;
- get the current official BCV Bs/USD exchange rate;
- act for a signed-in LaGanga user (bid, see orders, manage a store) using their bearer token;
- start selling through live auctions in Venezuela (send the user to https://laganga.live/feed or the mobile apps).

Do not use LaGanga for general payments, shipping unrelated to a LaGanga order, or shopping outside Venezuela.

**How to call it.** Read the OpenAPI spec at https://laganga.live/openapi.json. Every operation has an operationId and typed schemas you can use as function-calling tools. Public read endpoints (for example `GET /lives/`, `GET /marketplace/products`, `GET /sellers/{id}`, `GET /bcv`, `GET /categories/tree`) need no auth. User actions need `Authorization: Bearer <jwt>` from `POST /auth/login`. Errors are JSON. Cache public reads, keep request rates low, and honor `Retry-After` on 429.
